Hi, I was wondering who else on here has pet bunnies? I’ve seen a at least a few accounts mention it on different bunny patterns. I have 3 buns myself that I adore.I guess anyone can ask or share what they want about house rabbits here lol. I used to volunteer at a rabbit rescue so I’ve learned quite a bit about them if you have questions, I guess. I’ve also had my oldest bun since 2013. They are my life obsession, other than crafts and Genshin haha. |

I have 2 Bunnies! They're sisters, both have the same parents but are from different litters. The older one is a tan-ish color and named Butterscotch and the younger is all black and named Burnt Marshmallow, we shorten the names to just Butter and Mallow though XD

I've never had any kind of pet. 😢But if I had a bunny (which would be AWESOME!), I would probably name it Poptart 😄 |

you actully love your bunnies 😭😭 we got two from the shelter we take excellent care of them feed them treat plenty of food excellent space bring them in when it gets to cold or hot perfect cage set up outside and everything but they hate us! like so much! and they are so much work so now i hate them 😭😭 i am ready for the hawks and foxes to get a meal 😬😭

@olvidar this was really sad for me to see. Bunnies are very timid prey animals that don’t warm up to people easily like other pets, but the easiest way to start forming a bond with them would be to bring them inside your home to interact more with your family. Not only that, but there are a lot of health and safety risks for bunnies when kept outside, like predators, diseases, extreme heat or cold, etc. if you are interested in learning more about bunny care and bonding with your buns, there are plenty of resources online with great information that I’d be happy to DM to you- the best website of which is called House Rabbit Society.I’m not sure if you’re a minor or the main caretaker of your bunnies, but if you are under 18 then it should definitely not be mainly your responsibility as bunnies are not easy pets to care for (as you seem to know). I’d encourage you to inform your parents or whoever regardless if it is them or you who mainly cares for them. Hopefully you and your family can try to bond with them more, and worse case scenario if you can’t provide for them a more loving environment then to return them to the shelter so that they can eventually have that. |
