on or off?

I kind of feel like we should be able to see if our friends or ppl we talk to are on or off. like we just have a little dot by our profile picture that is green when u or ur friends are on and then gray when u or ur friends are off.

I use another platform that has something like this, if you haven't done anything in that tab for awhile it changes to yellow (away.) It is honestly kind of annoying to deal with. If this were a feature it would be nice to have an option so that it wouldn't show you were online unless you wanted it to.

That would also present the issue of forgetting it on, then it would be hard to tell who was actually online and who forgot/had to leave suddenly. I think it is a cool idea, however it would be hard to use it in a way that didn't invade people's privacy or get confusing.

I agree. It's kinda hard with emoji's because I forget lol. My parent has set it up to where it turns off at certain times of the day and sometimes I forget it's about to go off so I can't update it.
