How many knots are you willing to untie? What is the most you've had to untie at once?

I think the most for me is about 10. Looking forward to see your answers!

depends on how much i care or how much it’ll mess up the pattern… i think mine was roughly 160 knots :/

I avoid undoing knots, I usually change patterns slightly if I noticed I've messed up so I don't have to. 🙂

While I tend to change the design slightly if I mess up, I've had to undo at least 7 full forward knots at once at the start of a pattern. So 14 knots in total at once :c I hated it but honestly it was worth it!

The most I've ever undone was around 30. The sad part about that was then I realized that I hadn't actually made a mistake. :/Normally I'll stop at around a row though, because most of the time I catch my mistakes pretty quickly. If it's anything more than that then I'll just find a way to work around it or just leave it. |

I've had to untie 32 knots in a row... Once I had finished the row I realised I didn't like it so I sat untying the knots for nearly an hour... 💀

I am currently working on taking a whole bracelet apart because I forgot about it/ don’t remember where I stopped/ don’t care for the pattern with the colors I choose anymore… so by the time I am done around 60 at once.

But normally I take it out especially if it is for a friend.

I once did a alpha and realized I screwed up almost half way through. I untied it all, luckily it was all the same color

I’ve gotten half way through a bracelet and had to start over, so many, many, many knots. I’ve had to do that a few times. I don’t want to waste the thread.

i only ever untied a couple knots at a time.....if i had to retie more than 7 I would reconsider the bracelet entirely. i just do not have the patience to untie multiple rows of a bracelet 😭

one of my first patterns ever was too complex for my skill level so it was a bit of a reach. I untied about 20 rows of knots around three times before I got so upset I quit the pattern

I normally can notice if I make a mistake pretty quick but I would say 8 at the most. Then one time I didn’t realize I messed up a row until I finished the bracelet so I just fixed it by cross stitching that part.
