what are some problems you have as a bracelet maker? some of mine are: callused pinkys lol finishing your bracelet during a trip/long event and now you have nothing to do making a bracelet for someone then becoming attached to it when a base string breaks 😭 |

My pinkes almost always have calluses Repetitive motion injury in my right shoulder, so it cracks every 10 seconds and hurts really badly sometimes (I'm lucky enough not to get the back pain though) Feeling bored without a bracelet to work on Trying to decide what bracelets to wear, sell, give away, save for later etc When someone asks you to make 12 of 1 pattern for them...and you do... then you dislike the pattern after that Siting in a public space, working on a project and getting nothing done because 7354263 different people stop to ask you what you are working on |

Having a cut on the medial aspect on each of your pointer fingers from floss 😭Having your desk covered in unfinished bracelets and scrap thread Trying out new color combinations just to realise it doesn’t match your outfit ✌️ Always running to Michaels for more black and white thread WHY ARE MY KNOTS TOO TIGHT/LOOSE AAAAAGHHHGHHH (Also the breakinf string thing is so relatable, I just did that the other day on an alpha 😂) |

I keep chipping my index finger- and thumb fingernail, which is annoying because I also play guitar and kalimba, so I need those. 😭Other than that, yes to all you all have already said! Especially the back pain and the random floss bits everywhere. (Found one on my dog just this morning...) |

So true @tkd2010. When they ask if they can have a wall hanging or bracelet that you spent like 5 hours on. Then you have to explain how such a simple looking thing took forever. Or when they suggest for you to just make another one but you are already bored of the pattern.

My desk and night-dresser are covered in knotted bobbins yet to be untangled or plain bobbins yet to be sorted.Scraps EVERYWHERE. The tip of my index finger is rubbed raw. String breaking so close you cannot fix it. Knots flipping between strings. Everyone asking what your doing in public. Forgetting scissors/the bobbin in public/on a trip in case you made a mistake. Wanting to print off a pattern so you can work on it away from the screen, but realizing that you'll either only make the pattern once, or there is another variation with completely different colors. |

@Yelena09 Yessss! Can relate to everything you just said. When everyone wants a bracelet at my school they always ask “is it done yet?” or “Have you started yet?”. I have a solution tho, every time they ask it is another month they don’t get the bracelet

for me its:people asking me to make bracelets for them, but then get mad when I don't give it to them that same week STRING SNAPPING WHEN IM ALMOST DONE and messing up but the knot is too tight and I can't undo it |
