how does everyone keep their stuff organized while making bracelets and stuff? what does it look like while you’re making things. I’m fairly new so I want to make sure I stay organized and want to know how everyone else does it.

i keep my stuff taped to my desk when i’m working on it. colors i need for bracelets are kinda in a pile to the side. i have a lot of different types of thread but if i have a lot of thread of one type ie dmc, jp coats etc, i wind them in bobbins and put them in a box. other miscellaneous thread or scrap, i keep in a separate box

So I have a desk. I am going to be honest. It is a mess. I can clean it and then not even 2 hours later it's gone insane. Normally I keep a box of thread with most colors in one of my desk drawers, and then I also have two different clipboards (one that's cracked and taped up lol) in the drawer with it. I always have a bracelet going. To start bracelets I'll simply just tape them to the desk for a bit, then put them on a clipboard bc it's the most portable thing for me. Sometimes I will take a safety pin and pin projects to my pencil case (that way I can take them to school!!!). On the other side of my room though I have a bunch of unwound skeins of thread and other materials, as well as finished projects that I'm going to give to friends. I've been trying to keep more organized recently 🙂

I have 1 big storage box where i keep my cotton threads in. It also has a few smaller special boxes in it with different beads. Also tape and s My embroidery floss i have on bobbins and put in 3 bigger special boxes and 1 smaller. Those also fit in the big box but i prefer to keep them on the side of my desk because i mostly use them. The cotton threads i use mostly as strings and for same color backgrounds. My desk is always a mess too 🙈

I have a pretty big desk that I do basically everything at (laptop for homework, drawing, etc), bag full of assorted art supplies, shelves filled with markers, cubbies for pencils and pens. Then in front of the shelves are where my unfinished, old, and finished bracelets are... just sitting on the desk 😅 I have a clipboard for normal patterns (Currently empty) and right where my chair is is an alpha taped to the desk (which is unfortunate since I also do homework there!) I have tons of yarn out too because I'm trying to crochet. I have a basket with cubbies for scrap string, full skeins, bobbins, needles, scissors, tape, keychains and dowels. My desk is SUCH a mess right now haha 😂

I keep my scraps in a bag, I wrap my strings around bobbins, and I work on the floor

I have a clipboard I use. I keep scissors, tape and my colors on my bed. And I spread out my strings on the clipboard so they don't tangle.
