@Hylia224 Haha, I have so many huge, probably men’s, t-shirts that i keep because I like the designs, but mostly I just wear them for pajamas. Good for you for altering yours, I wish I had the patience for that😂 Pretty much the only clothes I bother “altering” are pants, because I get men’s pants that are too big and I HAVE to take in the waistband somehow or they’ll fall right off of me

@TKEStrong3 well that's kind of how my altering goes too 😂 I can do shirts ok but pants are iffy at best And it's ok lol I learned from a YouTube not-tutorial (basically just a girl sewing and kinda sorta explaining what she was doing. She's hilarious though and she got me into sewing, like she made me WANT to sew lol. Her channel is Micarah Tewers. She doesn't do a lot of sewing in her more recent stuff but she made me want to sew from her Cinderella dress video just because I wanted a big ballgown too 😂) most of the time I'm just winging it anyways lol |

I also have a clunky old sewing machine that is probably immortal at this point. I could absolutely NEVER do it by hand. I would lose my mind and throw it out the window. And I literally just pin it to the width I want when it's on me inside out (usually over the clothes I'm already wearing) and just ask my sister to help me take it off without stabbing myself too much 😂

@Hylia224 Hey, that sounds like a GREAT system! I’ll have to try that! So do you cut off the sides where the shirt is too big or just leave them? When I’m taking in the waistband of pants I leave the extra on the inside, and I do all my sewing by hand. Even though I have TWO sewing machines. But I don’t really have a place to set up a sewing machine, and one of them I always tangle up somehow

@TKEStrong3 lol yeah some machines are dumb like that. I literally have a work station set up on top of my sister's dresser since we share a room.As far as cutting off extra fabric, it depends on how much I'm taking the clothing in. If it's more than like a couple inches I cut it off just so it's not uncomfortable and bulky. If it's less I usually leave just so I have the original seam in case I grow out or something, idek. I recently totally altered a shirt that had like the flying-squirrel sleeves yk? Like the armpit and shoulder seams were super far down the sleeve itself. After I took it all up and in, I ended up with football player shoulders when I wore it (which I almost found flattering on myself...?) It ended up pretty bulky but it looks good on me and I love the shirt sooo |

I’m about to make a LOT of people mad but I think Taylor swift is a little overrated. I mean her music is good and stuff but 1,000 dollars for a ticket to sit in the back row. Do they think I’m rich?

1. hip hop is bad 2. taylor swift is basic 3. mashed potatoes are like baby food 4. ripped jeans look bad (fr why are you buying clothes that already have holes in) 5. skinny jeans aren't ugly 6. clothing brands are overpriced and overrated (who cares if you're only wearing louis vuiton) 7. coloured hair that isnt part of a cosplay just looks weird (there are some exceptions but only a few) 8. everyone is too sensitive nowadays remember that these are just my personal opinions lol and i don't care or mind if you like/hate the things I listed above |
