I love docs sm! I have the 1460 boots in black and white and the oxfords in black and I love both! I would probably recommend the boots more, but they’re all super cute and it honestly just depends on what your style aesthetic is 😊

@nev_m_07 i definitely want boots, but you recommend the 1460? i wasn’t sure if i would like those or the 1490 more.

It honestly depends on what look you’re going for. I personally have never tried on the 1490, but I will say that if you are looking for a taller boot then that is probably the way to go. The 1460 is 6 inches tall, so it’s like 4-5 inches above your ankle, so if you’re looking for something higher than that, then maybe pick the 1490.

another question: if anyone has ever had embroidered docs, did the embroidery ever get snagged on anything? i love the black floral ones, but i’m worried the embroidery would get snagged on something and start to look cruddy.

I’m a little late to the conversation but think about what kind of leather you get. I tried on a smooth leather pair and my feet hurt after two minutes of wearing them so I chose the Pisa leather option. I don’t regret it at all and I love my burgundy Sinclair platforms.
