Anyways so I have wanted to tell this guy I that I like him (his name is cameron) and I finally had he guts to do it. I texted him and my heart sank because I didn’t get a reply for 3 minutes (longest three minutes of my life) . When I tell you that I got so nervous when my phone vibrated, my heart was on the freaking floor. I opened the message and he said “who stole your phone this time?” And I see where he was coming from since my friends always take my phone and send him dumb crap but this was actually serious. I carried on and reassured him MANY TIMES that no one stole my phone and I was being serious. I even send a video of me telling him that literally no one had texted him that except for myself. Then he has the AUDACITY to reply saying, “sure” like bro I’m sorry what- then later I sent him a meme because that’s just kinda what we do and he says, “ur so gay” and I just tell him that that might be a possibility since he doesn’t believe that I like him and he told me AGAIN that he still didn’t believe me. Is he dodging the question because he feels like it’s a joke or does he not want to hurt my feelings?? I NEED ANSWERS!

lol idek. this guy kinda being weird fr lolz. he might be dodging them bc you’re being too obvious for him to take it as a joke. tbh, it’s a very immature and hurtful way to go about things imo

I also have no idea, but I don't think he wants to hurt you or anything. I think it would probably best to talk in person or at least make a phone call.

Agreed with everyone, he is probably avoiding it by trying to brush it off as some joke/prank instead of telling you how he really feels before he hurts you (even though this way is stressful as is). If you see him in person you can gauge his reaction better but if he still keeps up with the constant denial then you have your answer and you know not to waste your energy

I understand and agree with the rest he probably doesn't want to be pranked and is just not taking things seriously (as most boys do) but maybe talking in person would help. My messages are open whenever if you wanna talk! 🙂 🙁 |

@Zaan_13 yeah but I honestly don’t know. He is kinda quiet and even his best friends say that they think that he likes me bc he acts differently towards me than towards other girls

If that's the case then he might just be unsure of how to react / respond and might still be in denial but in a good way 😂 I hope you eventually get the opportunity to talk it out though!

@sage-wolf I personally was not offended bc we are both christian and it is not acceptable based on scripture so it just kinda a joke (pls don’t come at me lol I’m not trying to force my religion on anyone)

oh ok i see that’s still not really an appropriate joke tho and also there a lot of gay christians. u should maybe do a little more research tho because there are a lot of perfectly acceptable things the bible forbids (eating pork, women showing their hair, eating shellfish, working on sunday, etc.) and a lot of very unacceptable things that are considered ok in the bible, but i won’t go into that bc a lot of it isn’t really bb appropriate (mostly just dark/violent) as well as evidence that the bible doesn’t actually forbid gay ppl (i forget exactly but i think it’s a result of bad translation from hebrew) but good for u for not forcing ur religion and i don’t wannna seem like i’m pushing my lack thereof, a lot of my best friends are christian, and i love them so much, but you should do a little more research. would jesus really like any kind of hate/ not accepting behavior? anyways, he clearly doesn’t like you UNLESS he seems extra awkward. if he’s blushing that’s probably a good sign 🙂 otherwise he is probably avoiding it bc he doesn’t want to hurt your friendship by saying he doesn’t like you. or maybe he’s just being weird like boys do 😉 |

@sage-wolf thank you for your advice but I have researched these topics a lot and I feel strongly about my beliefs and I get that it can be offensive to so,e

@SadieLou it’s good that u recognize that it can be offensive : ) but why do you feel strongly abt something that doesn’t affect you in any way? and why is it that someone can now eat pork or show her hair as a christian? i’m not trying ti hate on you im actually really interested in learning abt other ppls point of view on things

@sage-wolf well I feel strongly about the whole sexuality thing because of Matthew 9:8 and it kinda unpacks that kinda thing and other “rules” such as like the other things you listed I do not feel as strongly about because when a

*Jesus Himself came to earth he actually broke many of these rules and stated that loving others and following the Father is more important than rule keeping, and the Bible also says that Jesus never sinned, so that is just my perspective

@SadieLou two things: what does matthew 9:8 say? i’m not very familiar with bible verses sorry!and two, if loving people is more important than the “rules” than why isn’t it that people can love whoever they want? that doesn’t make much sense to me |

@sage-wolf Matthew 19:8 roughly says that marriage should be between a man and a woman and I’m almost positive that those words came from Jesus

@sage-wolf and the second thing.. based on my understanding, the rules at the time were created by religious leaders and not Jesus so therefore there were likely some mistakes made somewhere or someone misinterpreted scripture
