hi. so as you might guess from the title I need some crush advice.i like a girl.. which makes me wlw. my parents don’t know. (they would be supportive Im just too terrified to say anything) now my crush who I’ll call Caitlin (not her real name) does like girls I think (not sure) but she’s a year older than me and it makes me feel so awkward. also, the only time I talk to her is around my parents or other ppl. my parents also read my texts sometimes so I can’t tell her over text. she’s so cool and calm and kind and pretty and idk what to do. i don’t want to ruin my chances of getting to be closer friends with her anyway. what should I do? |

I feel u girl i do, i think even though ur scared yes u should tell ur mom if thats what u think is what would benefit u maybe call her? One night when ur alonew or in ur room.... and see hpe she feels or continue to be good friends and see if she gives any hints to liking u

I think that if you know your parents would be supportive, then it would be a good idea to tell them. If you don't exactly want to have a scary convo about it (cuzit can be hard to bring it up) maybe do it in a fun way if that makes sense. Maybe make cupcakes with the lesbian flag on it, or if your not into that either, you could write them a letter or even just text them. I'm still trying to figure myself out, so I don't know a ton about this, but I think try to do what makes you feel safe and comfortable

@escobpen00 my mom has been gone a lot lately so I might tell my dad tomorrow before she gets home or like play him the song girls by girl in red, he’s a lot more supportive than my mom, but also when I’ve talked about it before they said “I’m too young to know anything about it and if I am that’s fine but you probably aren’t because you’re young”

@bby_Brooke yeah i mean i know her more than anyone else in our class at music school, and she texts me without me texting her, but still I only met her in august and we didn’t talk much until November
