Any tips for securing it or best way to set up to not take up space or anything?

tape it to your desk? Are you trying to sneak it or making it for in your free time

i would tape it to a water bottle. if you do a simple loop you can just hook it on the handle. i personally don’t do simple loops anymore but that’s up to you! plus you can take the water bottle wherever.

You can tape it to a note book. Or if it is small enough and has a loop then you can pin it to your pants when you want to use it and when you're done with it you can roll it up and put it in your pocket, I do this everywhere I go 😂

It's always best to either tape it down or put something heavy on it. Whenever I do mine at school, I like putting my chromebook or hard-cover books on top of the taped down bracelet.

I have a clipboard that I customized by taping paper and stickers to it. I love bringing it to school since it doesn't take up much space in my bag, and I don't think I've ever had trouble with my bracelet falling off! Every once in a while, when it starts falling apart, i'll redo it and make new stickers to put on it.

I keep it in the pouch of my lanyard, and wrap it around a safety pin so I can pin it to my jeans

What I always use to make bracelets in school is fabric. I always use bandanas, then I fold them that it is strong enough to make bracelets on and if the bandana is long enough you can tie it around your leg. And to secure the bracelet I use safety pins. With these you can also easily untie the knots if you made a mistake.
I hope it’s understandable what I’m trying to say here 😂 😂

I have a small thread box like what people would store thread in, but it's half the size I take that with me pretty much everywhere. I can hold that between my knees under a table or something and people leave me alone about it. Using a safety is easier to stick in a pocket then onto your jeans when you are ready to use it though.

Clip it to a book or a binder for convenience. Personally I use a clipboard, and have safety pins secured to the handle thingy in case I make a mistake.

I usually safety-pin the loop of my bracelet to the knee of my pants (and I sit with my leg up so I don’t have to bend over to knot). I think it’s easier to make a pattern that is easy to remember so I don’t have to be looking at a pattern all the time, otherwise I print my pattern off (and usually have a small pencil with me to check off rows). But if you have your phone with you I guess you probably just use that.

Whenever I make a bracelet (at home, school, or anywhere) I always put my end of my bracelets in the closed straw of my water bottle so i don't need tape. I also find it a good idea in public if you have one of those bottles
