Do any of y'all crochet?I know this is a bracelet-making site, but I think it's interesting to see what others like that I also like. I like getting engaged in the community. I've been crocheting for around 2 years now and I am in love. I have a pretty minimal(compared to others') stash and I am wanting to minimize it so that I can buy specific yarn. Although, it's not like, a goal for me to "stash bust". I just think it's interesting. ❤️ |

i love crochet! have been crocheting for about 2 years as well! i don’t have a yarn stash, i only buy yarn i need for specific projects, but my bracelet string stash is quite impressive 😅 i’ve made a few blankets and a couple amigurumi toys! i’m making a spider-man blanket at the moment, it’s like a giant red and blue spiderweb it looks so cool!

@spyderwebsThat's neat! Thanks for responding! One reason why I have so much stash is because when people found out that I crocheted, I got a lot of donation yarn, which I'm really grateful for. That blanket sounds neat. How long have you been working on? |

I like to crochet as well! I've been crocheting for about a year now, my favorite thing to make is amigurumi.

@ScrapYarn ah that’s so nice about the donation yarn! and it would be cool to have a stash, i always come up with so many cool ideas just wandering through the yarn section looking at all the different ones! i’ve been working on the blanket for so long now, i need more yarn but the craft store i get it from had a problem with the last batch and it didn’t feel right so i haven’t been able to get yarn for it 🙁 but i’m hoping they get more soon so i can finish it! 🙂

it’s so cool you guys can do amigurumi! i really struggle with it 😅 the only thing i’ve managed to make successfully is a cute fluffy manta ray ☺️

@spyderwebsYeah I haven't had to buy in a while except for when I run out of a specific color. I love the yarn section of hobby lobby!!! ❤️ ❤️ It's so beautiful and just so awesome! I also like looking on Etsy for inspiration for patterns. Do you like using patterns or just playing it by ear? I've tried to make a blanket, but I ran out of the yarn and just didn't have the motivation to just buy more or to finish it, so I just made a sweater. That manta ray sounds neat though! I haven't made anything like that before.e |

@Crystal130I understand crochet block. It normally ends about 2-3 weeks after a failed project. I'm kinda struggling with crochet block as of now because of a failed sweater attempt and a frustrating pattern. |
