Hi all!I'm leaving shortly for a 5-month internship abroad and I would like to make my family/friends something to 'remember' me by, a little token if you will. Now, since I don't have everybody's wrist sizes for bracelets I felt it would be easier to make keychains since those are a bit more universal. Now, I'm stuck on choosing designs that are suitable for everybody (alfa or normal, both good). I am looking for patterns that are 'generally liked' by all genders/ages or like some ideas for each category (some for friends, some better suited for parents/close family, etc.). There are TONS of patterns, but I find it harder than expected to pick some.... 😭 Did you ever gift keychains to others, or planning to? What would you give them/have given to them? Or what keychains would you like to receive from others? Let me know below! Thank you for reading this and I hope you can help me out 😊 |

I made the double peruvian wave into keychains for a recent craft fair!

@mrs_jordan ooh sounds cool 😎 ! Do you have a picture of them, I'm curious to see how that turned out (and what beautiful color scheme you used if I can ask of course! 😊) ?

i’ve been gifting things to my friends that have been going to college recently and i’ve been collecting patterns that i thing each person would specifically like and make those for them

I had like the hardest one, a male friend that’s over 30. I gave him a green, blue, and black arrowhead; and a cross keychain( he’s a Christian).I would recommend interests. I almost did a bird one, he has one, but found it too hard to match the coloring |

I make lots of flower keyrings and cross keyrings (because I'm a Christian). Many people like those. Or just normal patterns. They might be easier. 🙂

You could do a cross or you could put your first and last name initials on them.

Using said person's interests to find a pattern will help. Also a short but wide pattern would probably be best.
