Do your parents ever say "Do Better!" when you screw up

So my stepmom always has a habit of just saying "Do better" when I do smth that isn't even that bad. But apparently it's like the end of the world. I try my hardest and it's still not good enough. She says smth and I'll say "I'll try" and she goes "don't try just do it" or "we'll do better" and idk if it's a good thing or not but it's really aggravating

He was “helping me through my mental struggles.” He is one of my dad’s closest friends. I realized a few months later he was acting creepy.But anyways whenever I said “I’ll try” he said “there is no trying. It’s do or do not” |

My parents don't put that kind of pressure on me but since my grandpa lives with us he always says "aim for the best" or "you should score the maximum marks". Like once in my exams my total score of all the subjects was 116 out of 120 and even though my parents were super happy my grandfather wasn't. He looked kind of disappointed 😀Honestly I don't get people who think that human beings should be perfect in every way like those people annoy me a lot |
