I typically use both a clipboard to secure my beginning loop, and tape to tape the bracelet down on the clipboard as I work. 🙂

Neither, I usually just use a safety pin to pin it to a pillow or my trousers. I find it to be more secure and it's easy to carry around

I use tape but it kinda sucks, a lot of my friends use clipboards and that seems to work a lot better. I don’t use one because I don’t wanna go get one and tape works enough.

I use a clipboard and I binder clip it works so much better than tape for me I can’t use tape without it undoing and then sticking to itself

clipboard all the way! if i ever use tape i use packing tape bc scotch tape doesn’t work for me. clipboards are just so perfect! easy to detach and adjust the bracelet, it holds it well and you can make it look cute with stickers and stuff

I use clear tape because that's the only type I have. It's not the best tho

I use electrical tape, because it's a really sturdy hold and it doesn't damage the surfaces I tape it to, (wood and plastic mostly)Just beware if you use it, it is a bit rough on bracelet string. Like, when I peel it off, I can see a lot of string fibers on the tape afterward. Also yes, it's "duct tape", but there's one company that calls their brand "duck tape" and they use a logo of a duck, lol. |

CLIPBOARD is so much more portable, and you don't find little pieces of dirty clipboard everywhere, do you!?

I mostly knot projects of between 20 to 40 strings wide, so a clip on a board works best for me.

I use a clipboard regardless of size. I’ve tried using tape but it never works for me. I’m adjusted to not needing tape by using the loop on the clip to my clipboard. I tie new strings to there, start making the bracelet and cut it off the loop/back of the bracelet later on. I also have other tricks that I use that make me able to work with a clipboard.

Neither! I pull on my bracelets like a madman and need something that can resist, both tape and clipboards are way too flimsy for me. I actually use a hook that i stabbed real deep in the corner of my desk!

Tape just didn't work for me as well as the clipboard I switched to. For extra security, there's a metal loop on my clipboard, so K clip strings and can pull the ends through that loop and knot them.
