What can I use to attach my alphas to?

I like to make alphas, but I don’t have any skewers or keychains to attach them to. I know that you can start Alpers with a teardrop, but I would rather start them with a base. Does anyone know of any good alternatives with items lying around the house?

@Karis07 you could tape down a pice of yarn or string down to the table and use that like a dowel and then when you finish you can cut it down and use super glue or nailpolish or something like that to to the back of the piece hopefully that makes sense there is a youtube video I will try to find and link it here

i used a chopstick that i found in a random drawer in my kitchen once, and that worked pretty well! 🙂

I would recommend pencils or chopsticks or old crochet hooks a safety pin 🧷 or tooth picks for small projects
