Hey everyone! I currently play baritone/euphonium in my band! I played trumpet for about 4 years, but switched a little over a year ago. I also got the amazing opportunity to be my band’s drum major for the next two years! I’m very thankful for it, and I think it’ll be a great learning experience for me!

lovely to read about all of y’all’s band experiences and story’s! i march alto sax as well as play in concert band! our sax section is huge and continues to get bigger each year so band camp 22’ is going to be interesting 🤣

I’m a clarinet player and I started in 5th grade (now I’m almost done with 8th). I auditioned and made it into the jv band for my high school next year. So I skipped 2 years of band!! I also just went on a full band trip to Chicago and it was amazing!

I'm not in school anymore because I'm old 🤪... but I loved band!I especially loved marching band! I was a flute section leader my junior and senior years in high school, and then played piccolo all four years in college as an undergrad. 😊 |

i play trumpet and am first chair and section leader! our band director is retiring this year and we met our new one last week. it’s kind of nerve racking because our old BD was very good at pushing us to get good at music while also having fun with it, but i’ve never even seen this new BD conduct or anything so who knows what his style of teaching is 🤷♀️
