So I got a peircing two months ago and I wanted to take it out and clean it then put it back. But idk if it's good to do that. The peircing person told me after 4 months it would be healed or 5 months smth like that but it feels fine and I have no pain or anything. Although it hurts when it gets rugged on but I feel that's normal cause it hurts with my earrings too lol but just lmk cause I have no ideaaa

i don’t have a nose piercing but DO NOT TAKE A PIERCING OUT BEFORE THEY SAY YOU CAN! i did that, and ended up repiercing my top holes on my bathroom floor 🙊, hurting when it gets pulled on is normal for a month/two, depending on where and how sensitive you are, everyone heals differently but follow their directionsssssss

i don't have a nose piercing but i agree - do not take it out until the full time has passed! Piercings usually heal from the outside in so even though it looks good on the surface there's still a lot of internal healing that needs to be done and taking jewellery out early could lead to infections / affect the healing process

you can do nightly cleanings with warm water + sea salt (or if you have a special cleaning solution) for the while, and that should be more than enough to keep it clean and prevent infections. and yea the pain u feel is normal so just be careful.

good luck! only a few more months til u can change the jewellery 😇

I just got one too, and the piercer said not to take it out before 5-6 months. so just to be extra safe, I suggest not taking it out just yet
