hi! so recently i just realized a few things that honestly made me feel kinda old….number 1: subway surfers (the one and only) is literally 10 years old number 2: tangled was released 12 years ago 😭 number 3: the fact that logan moreau who played toby on good luck charlie is almost 11 😭 number 4: the fact that mia talerico who played charlie on good luck charlie is a teenager now 😭 number 5: candy crush was released number 6: mars rover “curiosity” has been on mars for over 10 years now lmk if there are any other facts that make you feel really old 😄 |

i’m 16 but my parents always say they feel old when music they grew up listening to comes on and no teens know what it is, or if we’re playing music at parties and either they know none of it or someone’s like “i have a throwback playlist” and everything on it is what they grew up on

- It's almost a decade since Frozen (the Disney movie) came out (it's been about 9 years, to be exact). - There are kids who don't know who Harry Potter is, but know who Dumbledore is (probably because of the Fantastic Beasts movie franchise). |

@xc2024 // omg ikr! I volunteer at a childcare center and I host a lot of youth events in my neighborhood, and whenever I play music from when I was their age, they’re like “what even is this song??” And it’s a very popular song like call me maybe or hey soul sister or something like that 😭

@nev_m_07 i’m in high school, but i was raised on a mix of shania twain, miranda lambert, smashing pumpkins, gnr, and def lepard and stuff like that, quite the contrast ik, but my playlist has some of that on jt, then the next song will be like a year old. it’s so funny tho, especially when i play a playlist for something cause even tho i’m the same age as everyone else and we listen to a lot of the same stuff, then something like every rose has its thorn or something will come up and everyone’s like what’s dis? 😂

Shrek was released over 20 years ago.When cassette and pencil could make you busy the whole afternoon. Knowing when mom called me for dinner even if I was 5 blocks away and couldn't possibly hear her. Teaching my parents how to use computer (and biggest hard discs were a whole crazy 40 GB! Like what could you even do with all that space!? It never seemed to end) Man, now I made myself feel even older 😂 |
