I am not a pastor kid but it sounds very interesting! How is it like? What is the name of your church? Did your family start the church or did they come from a denomination or was the pastorship given to your parents in an already started church? Do you preach by topics or by books/chapters/verses? Do you have a youth group? Do you only hold meetings on Sunday? Is it a big church? Do you hold events (such as pastoral conferences)? Do you have to travel often? For how long have your parents been pastors? Feel free to only answer the questions you are comfortable answering. I really admire my pastor a lot, and even if we haven’t really spoken I can see through his sermons what a great man he is. He has tree daughters, all of which are adults and we have gotten together with his youngest whose daughter is a very good friend of my brother and she is a very nice person. 😄

For me it is both fun and hard. The church we are currently at is small. Not going to give the name of my church cause that would reveal my location but it is part of the denomination Bible Fellowship Church. (I think! Don’t quote me on that!) My family did not start the church my dad was interviewed and excepted. Currently we are going through the Beatitudes in Matthew 5: 2-12. Before that my dad did Hebrews. We do have a youth group that goes throughout the winter. It is not a big church. I think the largest attendance we have ever had would be somewhere around 90 tops. We only have meetings on Sunday and YG on Wednesday nights. There use to be a little more then that but it kind of ended. I think my dad has been a pastor for 10 years?!?!?? Not quite sure on that.

@Denver Because I’m queer and not religious. And it’s hard enough for most Christians to be respectful about that around where I live, but being a pk worsens it
