Basically what the title says. I can find dates online for my area, but not much more.
Like I don’t even know what happens at them.

I was closeted last year and really want to go to one now that I’ll have my license this year

So yeah, any info is helpful. Thanks in advance ❤️

And yes I know it’s not to June, I’m just getting excited

I suppose prides can be quite different depending on where you live. I've been to the one in Vienna, Austria a couple of times so I could tell you about that, if you're interested. If you don't find anything specific on your local pride yet, maybe wait until May or so, at some point they will probably announce a programm. In general, depending on the size and the local situation you can expect a parade with lots of people of all ages, information stands from local LGBTQ+ organisations (and political parties and corporations), lots of music and fun but also maybe political speeches, workshops, show acts, tons of different stuff! In my experience you'll get to encounter tons of interesting people, some of them kinda weird (they might challenge your idea of what is acceptable behaviour in public) but mostly they're very nice and normal people of all stripes decked-out in pride flags hanging out with their friends and having a good time. There's always the possibility of a counter protest, too, sadly. In Vienna there were some small ones but honestly I only know about them bc I read about it afterwards not bc I noticed any major interference. But I know that in Hungary they did have some problems with counterprotestors and right-wing people coming in to make problems a few times... It really depends on your local political climate.
