@xX_dIb_Xx im "homeschooled" lol. no, i don't enjoy it, i've been wanting to go back to regular school for a while (homeschool started in 2020 for me). my parents very much don't care what im doing online, as long as it isnt sexual. irl, maybe 2 friends, i never had many, and i only had 3 close friends in school, one of them being 2 yrs older than me living an hour away (family friend's kid). we don't hangout, and i dont talk with them much. i get very tired of being home all the time, one of my reasons to go back. I'm in indiana and i live in small-medium city, not dense, but not scarce. i only go out for dentist appointments (i have braces), shopping, camping, and random things like bday parties. i dont talk to people outside of making a friend while camping, and the occasional "excuse me" and "thank you". i do feel awkward, but i always have, so not really a difference. i believe the while blm thing is (in america/west) just something to get people angry, and (again, in america/west) there aren't any rights lgbt people don't have, and the activists for both groups just make the actual people in those groups look bad and like people with radical beliefs. yes, i want to go back, it's the top thing on my list of "if this doesnt happen i'll make it happen". i'd probably want to go back to public school, since there aren't any private schools in my area. for me, there aren't many pros, since any "pro" people point out it just something you could do during the summer. the cons are im bored all the time, i have too much free time, i cant hang out with friends (im 13, cant drive, and my friends live at least 15mins away) i don't have a social live, i don't know how to communicate well, i don't feel heard, i feel lazy since im at home all. the. time. and i feel like im missing out on what life actually has to offer. i dont know many people in my area, and the only other homeschooler i know is my sister. i'm very close with my sister. i've been to IL, OH, OK, AR, NC, SC, FL, GA, VI, WV, MI, and washing state if my mom being pregnant counts. never been to another country. if i could go anywhere it would be back to school, if i could go back in time it would be march 13th 2020, when school let out. i would want to speak german, or french. i have access to a lot of the internet, basic moral boundaries, but nothing actually stopping me from doing cheeky stuff. my mental state is changing a lot, normally its just a fuzz, and i tune out sometimes, when i think about what my life was like 3ish years ago, it quickly goes from nostalgic to a wave of emotions. i hate homeschooling, personally rate it a 0/10, my mom doesnt actually do anything, and its more of the "un-schooling" think, where you just dont enroll your kids and expect them to learn from the internet. i like a classroom a lot more than being at home, i should be in 7th grade, but noooo i cant dooo that. i never got anything done when doing school online (online academy thing, that sucked btw)sorry if it's long. |

@xX_dIb_Xx I go put almost everyday just depends. Also almost everyday because I’m usually with my friends I don’t really feel that awkward. Homeschooling is nothing to be ashamed of. I support both and wish all people could, Sometimes I want to go, but all together I feel like homeschool is easier. I’d do public Pros: you get to sleep in late. You can do stuff from the comfort of your home. You don’t have to spend all day doing schoolwork and you can take breaks, and less interactions with annoying people, more free time to do things you enjoy, Cons: not as many friends, a lot of the time the teachers screw something up. Siblings constantly annoying you, you don’t get pity because you had a rough day at school lmao, the weekends don’t seem as fun, Yeah, there are a lot of homeschoolers. I’m close with most of my siblings, ( I have five) I’ve been outside of my state, but not my country, I’d go to New York or Seattle Spain too Spanish. I want to go to Spain. Once we finish our school for the day we can do whatever we want but we have a limited screen time of one or two hours after school is done. My mental state is fine ig. Kind of horrible ngl |

@xX_dlb_Xx I personally enjoy being homeschooled. I would say yes you have fun being homeschooled but it would depend on the parents. For me I do have fun. I do have friends most of which I would say I have probably met over summer at a camp I go to. The main place I see my friends would be church or at a homeschool game day. The rest I probably see over zoom. Yes I do get tired of my home sometimes. Especially with some things going on. But I find just sitting on the front porch helps with that. I would say I am in between country and the middle of nowhere. I probably get out of my house at least once a day. Sometimes I do feel weird in public especially if when around a bunch of people I don’t know. Sometimes I do wish I could go to a school but only occasionally. Probably Christian or private school. I would say pros- more family time, flexible schedule, and being able to be done earlier then most people. Cons- don’t know as many people, not many field trips, and wanting to get out of the house. I do know a lot of other homeschoolers. I am kind of in between close and not close to my siblings. It kind of vetoes on the day. I have been out of my state. I don’t think country thought. I don’t really like studying languages but if I could just magically speak it I would probably choose Spanish or French. I do have access to the internet but I am not allowed to use YouTube, Netflix, or Social Media. If you have any more questions feel free to message me!

@xX_dIb_Xx I do ( mostly) enjoy being homeschooled. Pros: I am done fast, I start early. Cons: Human interaction is hard. My parents are pretty strict, I never thought about it like that but they give me very limited interaction to the internet, I can only watch friendship bracelet videos on You Tube, social media is a no-go, I am not even allowed to have messenger kids, and I am a teenager. I do have quite a few friends, I mostly hang out with them at church though. I live in the middle of nowhere, yet there are alot of homeschoolers in my area. Home does get so boring, alot of people were really struggling in quarintine, but I live like that, if my Mom just goes on a 30 minute car ride I like to go evenif I am not even going to get out of the car, just for a change of scenery

The state I live in is pretty chill on homeschoolers though. I get to leave my house pretty often, I wish it was more though. Human interaction is weird, also feel awkward in public only when public school is on. As for BLM I believe that God created all people equal, but the Bible does say that LGBTQIA+ is wrong, I understand where people are coming from with that though. I am glad that I don't have to go to public school because I don't think I would do well in that, I did go to public school for 2 years. I would rate homeschooling a 7/10. I am very productive I usually do my school in about 2-4 hours. I am very close with my siblings but especially my older sister who has read most of this over my shoulder. I forgot to say this in my above comment but I am not allowed to do school in my PJs and I do school at a desk in our cold unfinished basement. If you have any more questions feel free to ask. 🙂

I'm Blueknot's older sister. She's exaggerating a bit, there is a heater and we are allowed to bring a blanket during the colder months. And we each have a Pinterest account, even if we aren't supposed to comment or talk to people we don't know.

@xx_dlb_xx 1. I go out of my house a decent amount. 2. I got a lot of human interaction pre covid but now I only see a few people. I see them quite a lot though. 3. Ummm I hate crowds, but if it’s only like 3 people I’m fine. 4. I would like to go to a regular school, but I also really don’t think I’d like it. I just want the friends. I’d love to go to a co-op, but a very obnoxious kid who hit my friend in the face with a shovel goes to the best seeming one. 5. Pros: less people, you can get up later, often gets done faster. Cons: harder to make friends, people might make assumptions about you, less time out of the house. 6. Yes, I know one other family in the area. I also know one about an hour or two away. 7. I don’t have siblings. 8. Yes, I travel a lot! I’ve been to quite a few of the states, and quite a few other countries. 9. I would go to Iceland. 10. I’m not sure. Probably Chinese or Japanese. 11. I get access to all those things except social media. 12. I’ve got some anxiety problems, but I’m alright. |

@xX_dIb_Xx tagged you wrong, also, I 1000% PERCENT SUPPORT LGBTQ AND BLM!!!! You can’t change if you’re gay, trans, or black, so what’s the point in being rude to someone over it?
