I'm trying to figure out some storage solutions for my bracelet making stuff. I just recently got a small plastic storage box to put all my scrap threads into. Now I'm trying to find something to put all the floss that I've bought but haven't put on bobbins yet; they're still in the skeins as they were bought. I need some ideas of storage containers that I can use that won't take up a whole lot of space and can be easily moved. I'd appreciate any ideas you might have!! Thanks!

To put my embroidery floss in, I use a giant glass gar to store one brand (you can see all the colours easily + very pretty for display purposes). For the other brand I use, I put them in one of those shoebox-sized boxes with the pretty patterns that you get from Michael's! I personally dont wind the floss onto bobbins cause I find it takes a long time and isnt as enjoyable as seeing all my thread in a nice jar to me personally. Hope this helps! <33

atm my thread is all in one huge box, and then i have a separate container for floss that I've put onto bobbins already (which is v messy lol). But I've been looking into small craft drawer cabinets that can fit on my table / on the ground, and then organise floss per colour in each drawer 😊

I have 6 boxes that I keep most of my thread in, and the rest of it is wound on to bobins in a grocery bag because I haven't sorted them out yet. Previously though I had them on bobins and in a binder with some fancy sheet protector things that had special slits for bobins. I woudn't reccomend that though because they tend to fall out.

I have two plastic storage boxes from Michael's, they both have I think 18 little boxes that stack inside and I put my string into one and my finished work in the other (: I can link it of you'd like!

@Kiwi_art Please do! I've been looking at Michael's for ideas but get a bit overwhelmed at the different types! LOL! 😄

Also thanks to everyone else for your ideas. I appreciate all of your suggestions and now have ideas for what to look for.

Here's the two I have (:

https://www.michaels.com/rainbow-photo-and-craft-keeper-by-simply-tidy/10468242.html

I use the rainbow one to divide my creations by type, so all I gotta do is look for the color of the box to find what I'm lookin for. For me I have my little freebies/$1 bracelets in one, alphas, normals, bookmarks, keychains, wall hangings, and then beaded jewelry, then I have unfinished projects in 3 boxes (they each include a pair of scissors and pins so if I need to take it on the go I can do it on my pants leg) and then extra things I need to make bracelets (:

I use the clear one to divide all my colors and it's easy to see thru the boxes, and they're organized by rainbow order but then I have the color shifting ones and the black and white separate from the rainbow order.

It's very organized cuz it helps w my motivation and ofc you don't have to copy me but if you needed inspo, here ya go 😂
