So if you know your learning style you can figure out methods that work best for you - if you're not sure about yours you can do a quick google search and there are a lot of quizzes that can help you identify themFor me I'm a combo of read/write and kinesthetic learner With Read/Write I like to rewrite my notes and break them down into sections that are more easily understandable for me, and include as many diagrams as possible. I sometimes like to write on gridded paper because I can section my work vs writing on line paper. When I study a math/science topic, I like to go over the notes first, then do a few questions on the topic to confirm I understand it. Sometimes I also do a written breakdown of the steps involved, especially for really difficult topics or ones where it's easy to forget stuff For Kinesthetic learning that's more geared toward things I do with computer programs, so I learn by getting hands-on w software, or watching someone on youtube go through the steps and I can follow along I also try to take a lot of breaks in between to stretch my legs and to make sure im not overloading my mind with too much info Hope that helps a bit 😊 |

Not to brag but I'm pretty proud of my 3.5 gpa. What I do to study is make pretty notes. They don't need stickers or too much highlighter, but i make sure to write down all my definitions and as many little information tid bits as possible. I use Kokuyo Campus notebooks (Semi B5 dotted line grid) for all my notes and it always looks super cutesy and that helps me remember it. This is how i get good grades on my AP FRQs 😄 |

typically i study for chem for like 15 minutes, then i’ll go stretch or do core workouts or something for like 5 minutes then come back and rewrite history notes for 15-20 minutes. basically short productive periods of time with little breaks inbetween, if i have a ton of work, the breaks are less frequent, i just switch between subjects alteast every half hour

So one of my friends uses a system called the Pomodoro system. This system you basically set a timer where you work for 25 mins, and the rest for 5. Or you can work for 30 minutes, rest for 10. You just have to find your favorite times to do. You can also find videos on YouTube that are study with me and so on. I have sorta done this before, and it really does help with my productiveness. Hope this helps! |

i use pomodoro most of the timeit really depends on the day tho the idea is working in small blocks and breaks in between, and doing as much as you can in those periods to schedule it: 25min 5min break 25min 5min break 25min 5min break 25min longer break (15+ minutes) it helps me to a certain extent, but i tend to make the studyblocks shorter because i have trouble concentrating for long periods of time you can change the blocks as much as you want, tho i wouldnt recommend 5 minutes of studying and then an hour break |

What I do is just eat little snacks and water which keeps me focused. I also take little breaks every once in a while.

taken, and not to be like ooh look at me, but i’m valedictorian rn(4.35 gpa weighted) so i study a lot. math i write out why i got every single problem wrong and what i should have done. it’s so time consuming but it helps so so much. chem i rewrite notes and for math/oe stuff i do the same as math. english i’m hopeless in so spanish i rewrite all the vocab and one of my close friends is fluent so he can help when idk what i’m doing, but rewriting and speaking language and duolingo help me. history i rewrite all the notes and my friends and i will alternate betweeen topics and tell each other as much as we can remember about it. im in ap world and have a 95, so doing ok rn. if anyone wants other advice when it comes to school just ask me, i actually spend a ton of time studying 📚

also know how you learn, like i retain nothing if you just tell me it, last year my history class relied on lectures, no presentations or given notes, so i got a copy of the textbook and summarized each section of that. paid zero attention in class, but got permission to record transcripts of the class and wrote out those once i slowed it down to like .25 speed lol. i’m a hands on learner, and visual so those lectures do nada for me

I use flash cards and a podomoro method, and I also light candles or listen to ambiental music on youtube. There are really cool videos on youtube! Just search ASMRrooms or ASMRweekly and you're good to go. I read my notes at night before I go to bed because it helps me memorate the Information better.
