i really want to get a quality mechanical pencil for drawing and sketching but i have no idea which one to get since i haven’t used mechanical pencils before. What are some good suggestions? The price has to be under twenty dollars— i don’t know if this will get me a good pencil, but anything helps! thanks in advance <3

The mechanical pencil I use is 0.5mm and from the brand pentel. I don’t use it for drawing, but I really like the pencil. Hope this helps <3

0.7 lead or thicker might be better for a drawing pencil, but I am no expert.

I have no idea what it’s called but the the writing on the side says “Twist Erase 0.7, Pentel”. It is the best pencil ever it has a hug eraser that you can twist and more comes out, and you can buy more filler packs for the lead!! It’s a fantastic pencil, I know for a fact you can get them at target but you could also try Walmart. Also I think the price is somewhere between 8-11 dollars not sure tho
