When babysitting, always clean up after yourself! If you use dishes either wash them or put them in the dishwasher. Don’t expect snacks or drinks from the family. Meet somewhere publically with the family before you start babysitting.

As for how to find places to babysit, If you’re still in high school ask your counselor for people looking for baby sitters. They usually know who in the area is looking. Care.com also is usually a safe option.
