So I am friends with a pretty cool guy (we will call him Billy) we have been friends for 3 years now. One month ago at school a kid asked if me and my friend (we will call him Nate) we’re dating. I responded with a no never and then the kid went on the ask of me and billy are going to date and he said maybe we should get on that. I did not think of it then but about a week ago I remember so I texted asking why he said that and he said I don’t remember saying that and if I did what do you think about that. I said I don’t know. Then he said that I never liked you other than a friend and I don’t think that you feel that same. Then I texted back no I just thought of you as a friend. After that he has never been that same he keeps ghosting me and he dose not talk to me at school. I really want to be friends with him but I don’t know what to do. Any idea? |

from what it sounds like, he’s probably embarrassed. it sounds like he does like u but u friend zoned him hard, which isn’t a bad thing. u can’t force feelings. but he’s probably embarrassed and he probably is just taking some time to himself bc even if u don’t think it’s awkward, he definitely will. just give it time. but tbh, im not entirely sure bc i have friends who are both straightforward or obfuscating, it’s hard to rly say what happening bc i dk billy (i assume that’s the guy u wanna be friends w) im also a little be confused bc im not sure who said “maybe we should get on that”. was it nate or billy?
