Braces struggles!

I’ve had my braces on for a bit over 2 years, and I find it sooo annoying when I smile or laugh or whatever and my lip gets caught on the little hook thingies to hold the bands. I dunno if it’s just me, but it’s so annoying! Also, they say that you can’t eat any chewy or hard food, like popcorn or lollies (candy) but I still eat all those things even though I probably shouldn’t! Sorry, I’m just rambling on now! 😂😂😂

I had braces for years! I even had expanders and space maintainers... but it was totally worth it. Now, ever since braces, I just wear upper and lower retainers when I sleep. The thing I hated most about braces is that it made playing the flute really hard.

Oh, that must have been difficult to have that! I used to play trumpet, and it was really hard to play with braces, so I understand! I should be getting my braces off in November, and I can’t wait!

I’ve eaten everything I’m not supposed to except corn on the cob and whole apples cuz they’ll actually break your braces but things like popcorn won’t

I have had braces for a bit, I got them on my top teeth about eight months ago, and just recently got braces on my bottom teeth (last month). I also basically everything I'm not supposed to eat 😂 I've had a bracket fall out before, and today I just knocked out one whole side of my bite plates 😢

I have had a bracket fall out. I went to the orthodontist today...Hopefully I get them off in March!!! |

oops accidentally pressed send 😂 but one time the hook caught on my sleeve and literally flipped my bracket upside down and i couldn’t fix it! and it was in the evening so my orthodontist wasn’t available for an emergency appointment

I had braces for a little over three years and I hated every minute of it. It was totally worth it though because now I love my teeth! The difference it made was huge and I'm so glad it's over lol.

I had braces that got broken a lot, like even if I avoided hard candy, nuts ect as the plague I'd need them to be fixed every few months ... That being said it's so worth it when you're done! My teeth were already straight but my lower jaw was too small, the braces really helped me speak better and I feel my face looks a bit more natural even though it wasn't really visible 🙂

I just got my braces in December. I have an appointment February 5th to get the wires changed. I’m not looking forward to that. Also is it just me or does anyone have really dry lips. I find now with braces they are always dry.

I hate it when food gets stuck in my braces, and then I don’t was to like look “bad” when I talk to someone but it takes me a minute to try to get all the food out.

Another bracket got loose, I think it came off at Sunday dinner found it came off 11pm Monday night.It’s now Tuesday,and I have an appointment next week (i hate braces) |
