@weirdkiddo just keep in mind that if you have to try that hard for him to put in effort it might not be worth all of your time and effort. There is someone out there that will treat you with the respect that you deserve, and won’t make you wait around. I’ve been in that situation before, and it’s a really hard call to make, but I feel so much better. Because putting in all the effort long term is really tiring, and it takes a lot out of you.
