So, I thought I was pansexual, but when my friend came out as bi, I feel like I am more bisexual then pansexual. Now I feel confused. (any tips are appreciated)

@Genki The only person who knows I’m bi( therapist doesn’t really count) thought I was influenced by a friend who liked females. Huge assumption, because if they had asked basic questions they would have realized I was questioning at least a month before I met them

@age (17-22)Religion: atheist I was raised in a very loosely Catholic home, my mom's Catholic and she took me to church a few times when I was younger; she just presented Catholicism to me and let me decide. How Long You Have Used A Lgbtq+ Label- ~ maybe 7 years or so, I'm not quite sure. You Were Raised In- a home that didn't address LGBTQ+ stuff unless someone else (i.e. a guest) or a TV program mentioned it, and even then it was brief. My parents only really talked about things that were more vital at that time, like my experience throughout grade school. Are You Closeted: at home, but I'm out online. I tried to tell my mom a few years ago, but she didn't really say much and sort of dismissed it (like a completely neutral version of "I don't want to talk about it,") but she was supportive, I suppose. But she did tell me not to mention it to my dad, he's really uncomfortable with LGBTQ+ stuff. My parents aren't homophobic at all, they're just reserved about more sensitive topics, which includes religion, politics, etc. Would You Have Been Completely Closeted If The Year Was 1925 Probably, but it depends on which country, and where in that country. You Have Lgbtq+...: neither family nor friends. The most I have is people I follow on like Pinterest. You Are Out To Who- no one, currently. Except the internet. Labels You Use- Sexuality: asexual. Romantic orientation: biromantic (I'd be happy to explain romantic orientation to anyone who doesn't understand!) Labels You Use- Gender: female Other Labels You Use- because I tend to like girls more often than guys, think 85% girls and 15% guys, I often call myself gay or lesbian, but I generally don't identify as lesbian. Idk, it sort of shifts, it isn't set as one or the other, usually. |
