so basically I live on a street with a few kids my age, I'm 13 and then there's a 9 year old, a 10 year old, a 14 year old, and a 15 year old, and we all hang out together and we have been for a little more than a year now. The 10 year old is pretty two faced and one moment she's being really nice to me and the next she's trying to exclude me. Oh and I forgot to add that its two sets of sisters and then me, so the 9 year old and the 14 year old, and the 10 year old and the 15 year old. So it's pretty easy for her to exclude me since I dont have any siblings that she likes. but anyways today she tried to exclude me again and I've had enough of it, but the thing is my best friend is the 14 year old which is the one the 10 year old likes the best and shes always like attached to the 14 year old which also gets on my nerves. So because im so close to the 14 year old i don't wanna stop hanging out with them but the 10 year old makes me miserable, what should i do? 😢

I would speak to the 14 year old and tell her in a kind and respectful way how you feel about this 10 year old. You’ll get help from them sooner if you speak kindly and don’t swear or use insults. Don’t blabber on for too long either, just say that you feel youre being excluded by the 10 year old.

trust me I have many times, this isn't a new thing and its been happening for a long time, whenever I tell the 10 year old how she makes me feel she always apologizes and says she'll change but she never actually does
