So recently on Disney+ there was released a TV show off the book series Mysterious Bendidict Society. Now that it is almost to a close I was wondering what people's thoughts on it were? I personally will always prefer the books, but I still want to hear what other people have to say ( both about the TV show and the books).

OMG! I love the book! It is in my top 3 favorite books! I read it in GOAL and ever since I loved it! We didn't get to watch all of the episodes but I like them too! I'm glad someone likes it too! ❤️

I dislike the show. The books were fantastic when I read them, but the last time I read them was when I was like 10

@GenMalucci I'm interested on hearing your thoughts on why you dislike the show. I also like the books better and am currently rereading them for nostalgia. I do like the show as it is amazing to be able to see what I had been reading when I was younger. I especially like Number Two because she's exactly as I imagined, and even so many years later it felt like a dream come true. Also, if you liked the show, check out A Series of Unfortunate Events, it's kind similar and in my opinion, better. |

@GenMalucci I rereading, for the bazillionth time, the 1st book in the series. It is interesting seeing what they include and what they don't. The stuff that they do in the show is all cool and good, but I am super glad it wasn't in the book. Like the whole thing with Martina and Kate. Also, some things are just wrong. Like Mr. Curtain not having his wheelchair... HOW COULD YOU TV PEOPLE!?!!!? Or S.Q. being Curtain's son and not a professor. Becuase of this, I am just gonna have to agree that the books are better.

@Alpha_S I just didn’t enjoy it for some reason, I prefer the books because the world seems so real, but the show didn’t portray that for me. Everyone sees it differently I guess 🤷♀️ I have watched A Series Of Unfortunate Events, lol, It was alright, not as good as the books though

love love love the books and the show has been pretty good! it surprised me! it definitely gives me a big dose of nostalgia and it wasn't perfect by any standards but in terms of book -> show adaptations it was great! i hope they make a season 2! also anyone else absolutely weirded out by buster bluth as mr benedict???

also does anyone else think kate is so annoying😭 every line is 100% overacted and cheesy and i wish she was taller with long blond hair like the book

@clar I totally agree! I was watching the seventh episode and thinking that something was off about Kate. I am also currently reading the books, so I finished the episode then whent to read the first book. I then some something describing Kate's BLOND hair... So disappointed 😞.

I thought constance was too annoying in the show, and much older than in the books. Like in the first book she's literally two. But the actress is, like, 12, and they obviously tried to make her look younger. I get that it would be really difficult to have a two-year-old acting as a main character in a show, but c'mon.

I watched the show, and thought it was pretty good. I actually kinda liked Constance, she was almost like the only practical one in the whole show.

@30collin I just read the first book out of the series, but I definitely do recommend the first book! It is so exciting with all of the twists and turns that happen.
