i am going into 10th grade this year so here are some of my tips (:be open minded to new things bc your mindset is crucial it's ok if you lose some of your middle school friends, talk to lots of ppl and try to get closer to the ones you like. ik it can be hard to talk to ppl sometimes but everyone's new so yeah classes will be harder depending on what you're taking but if you do your hw in time and start studying for tests a couple weeks in advance, you should be fine. also, never hesitate to get help if you need it! be nice to ppl if you feel like someone is using you bc you're too nice, just cut them off. you'll be happier hope these help! good luck <3 |

im technically going into 8th grade (year 9) but secondary school and sixth form college are treated like high school. just dont be afraid to meet new people, talk to the people sat next to you and in the lunch line, and study. nothing is wrong with being smart.

Try building reports with people from clubs/sports. I highly recommend reaching out to a trusting teacher. Ask questions before or after school if you need help. Most times I can tell who needs what and when. I have an open door policy.

Stay on top of ur work!!!!! Teachers will literally sometimes not care abt how busy u are and will give u lots of work and each class piles up lil by lil so just have good time management skills and get work done as soon as u get it if possible like if u get assigned a project Monday and it’s due Friday try and get it don’t by like Tuesday or Wednesday
