I normally say “hello” when meeting someone new or when I have to talk with respect, but when I meet my friends I say “hi” or “hey” .. when texting it actually depends on my mood, like whenever I feel like being formal or friendly 😊😊

I say “hi” or “hey” to people I’m close with, like my parents, by brother, and my friends. Otherwise, if someone doesn’t fall under that category, or if it’s my first time meeting someone (who’s older than me, like an adult), I say “hello”.
