Ok but let's be real

You know when you say "see you later" to someone and they reply "not if I see you first"?
Well apparently it means 'if I see you before you see me, I'll make sure we don't see eachother'
I thought it meant 'haha. I'm observant so I saw you first'

HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS

Did you ever have an experience like this?

Many, countless in fact! Once, me and my friend were watching a movie I had seen a million times, and then, the way I saw that scene in that moment completely changed the way I view the whole movie! 😊

We were talking about something and then I guess I implemented that in the movie for some reason and it totally changed me!

This is embarrassing lol, but my dad and sister and I were talking about obvious random facts my sister knew, and we ended up talking about fish, and I found out that fish dont have lungs. Like it makes sense, but I guess I just assumed that they had lungs. It was very embarrassing

I just found out that instead of pulling the movies from the sides of the case box thingys, theres a little button where the hole in the movie is that you press and it pops right out 😂 😂 😂

@abbey10 exactly! Some people would brush that off as obvious, others not.
In fact, it wasn't until a few years ago that I learned you had to press the button! I used to just pry the cd out with my nails instead 😂

In elementary school, we were taught that bears and squirrels and some other animals hibernate during the whole winter, and we learned that they SLEPT for the WHOLE WINTER. Now that I think about it, how can they live not eating and hydrating themselves for a course of 4-6 MONTHS? Doesn’t this sound crazy to you? But how is it that I played along with this outrageous idea until now? 🤦🏻‍♀️

I was listening to some jokes and riddles, and one particular one puzzled me: Cindy had 3 kids, first one was April, second one was June. What was the name of the third child. Turns out, “WHAT” was the name of the third child. Confusing, but hopefully you get it. I got this random thought that if this joke was true, then everything we say in real life IS FAKE! Like if you say, “what’s the date today?” Then that means “WHAT” is the day today. Hopefully I didn’t confuse anybody 😅😂🤣

Ok, this sounds so stupid. I didn’t know people still use kettles! I thought they were like an 1800 thing and like 1820 British thing! My friend was like, oh yeah I have a kettle and I’m like 😳🤯 really!?! And she’s like yeah? I’m like COOOOOOL 🤯🤯🤯

So yesterday my friend was eating a piece of sushi and it had tuna in it and she was just like hey I forgot was tuna a veg or a fruit and then I told her that tuna was a fish and she was like seriously I never knew that!!!

And I was just like how do you not know that?

@Girl_Pearl about the hibernating thing, I always thought about it that way too, but if you've seen squirrels, not only do they stock up in their little burrow during fall for the window, but they also gain excessive weight and fat to they don't need food as much during the winter. I feel like teachers always exaggerate when they say animals sleep for ALL of winter, because they actually wake up every once in a while. But I understand what you were saying 😊!

@Yellowfang I know!! When I hear kettle, I always think of a 19th century tea kettle in a Jane Austen setting! But it's true, people still use kettles for tea and it feels so weird since I would think we would have invented something more evolved or something 😂
