I am team Gale because he couldn't control when the bomb was dropped and ended up saving Katniss form the capitol, when the bomb was dropped. (prim shouldn't have been there at that moment..... jk) Also he accepted the fact that he became her cousin so his bestfriend become "StArcroSeD LoVErS" with some one she didn't even like at first and also at first used for sponsors.

Prim happened to be one of the medics who rushed to help the victims and then the second round of bombing happened and Prim was killed. Gale didn't kill prim, but was one among the people who were responsible for the bombing. Here is what I was trying to say but it was written by someone on Quora.

Ummm team Katniss??? She was way strong enough without peeta or gale. I definitely think that peeta balanced her out better than gale, and i also think that peeta was very willing to let her be with gale, as we see in the second book. But I also think that Katniss was strong enough by herself. Even though she needed someone to be there for her, i dont think she needed to actually end up with either of them.

If I had to chose one of them probably Gale. Why? Because he and Katniss were best friends and basically destined to be with each other. While Katniss was in the games he SUPPLIED for his and her family so they wouldn’t die. Like ain’t that nice, he coulda been like “yeh, no, see ya” it wasn’t his fault that Prim was killed. He had to do with the bomb but he had no intention of killing Prim, Peeta and Katniss were only a couple so they could survive the games.

@Vivi07 Yes, I agree with you. Katniss was stronger without a man and didn't need either of them. I mean she survived 2 hunger games and taking care of her family after her father died. But it still angers me that Katniss ditched Gale.

@lucass_ I agree Gale was more interesting because Peeta was just a sweetheart, but gale had jokes and caring heart.

@lucass_ Peeta was close to death but Gale was too. They were both fighting for their lives and Gale's was more interesting because I always questioned if he was going to make it. Because you cant kill a character like Peeta, so I knew he wouldn't unfortunately die.

@Vivi07 ngl sometimes katniss annoyed me just cuz she got all huffy about peeta pretendin to be a couple and that they were havin a baby even after they explained it. like bro ur in a life or death situation get over urself
