Hello all! I was just curious as to what everyone’s favorite Greek/Roman god or goddess is. My favorite Greek goddess is Gaia (sometimes spelled Gaea). She is considered “Mother Earth” and was the creator of all beings on earth. My favorite Roman goddess is a fairly unknown one. Her name is Pomona (there’s a city in California named after her) and she is the goddess of fruit and abundance. She was the one who took care of the apple orchards and fruit bushes. My favourite god is Apollo, he’s the god of several things such as: Music, Healing, Plague, Poetry, The Sun and Archery. And he’s also my favourite Roman god bc... well... he’s the same lol

@Maialynn That’s so cool! Apollo sounds like a really interesting god to learn about. I’ve gotten really into learning about Greek and Roman gods recently, so I’ll have to learn more about him soon!

Mine is Artemis (Diana) cause she’s kinda awesome, and Aries (Mars)… (the percy jackson books make him look like such a bad person and makes Poseidon seem so good) and Koalemos (god of stupidness, idk the Roman name since he’s only been mentioned once in Greek mythology so the Roman foem hasn’t been mentioned) and my let’s favorite is obviously Zeus (Jupiter), Poseidon (Neptune), Hera (Juno) (I hate her so much from what she did in Percy Jackson) and my let’s favorite Titian’s are Kronos (Saturn) and Gaea (I don’t like them cause what they did I in Percy Jackson again lol)

I like Artemis/Diana and Hestia/Vesta. One reason being I had to dress and learn about the two at different times in school and just love them. They are power ladies 😂

@awesomelgk Hestia is so cool! She was always one of my favorites to learn about. Artemis is also great too! I like that she’s the protector of women, children, and animals.
