1 Younger siblings get away with everything 2 tons of responsibility. 3 every chore imaginable, cause you get siblings are incapable of doing the chore 4 never having alone time

Where to begin….

They are hardest on you
You have to wait for anything or their really strict, while the others get it sooner( basically your the guinea pig of rules for dating, going out alone, etc.)
The younger ones get away with everything
You have to help them with stuff plus do stuff you need to for you

this is how my ummm, lets just say explosion of feelings was caused yesterday.
2 SIBLINGS TORMENTING YOU NON STOP. I cant retaliate because
Having the HIGHEST expectations
always needing to hep them without shoeing that they should be able to do these things them self

I could go on and on, it is horrible

You always get yelled at / blamed for their mistakes
All the responsibility
Siblings get away with everything
You have to wait longer to get things while they get it the same time as you because "it will be fair that way"
Everything you wear gets criticized while the younger ones can wear whatever they want
Always having to help them with their homework because "you learned it a few years ago"

Lets see….. my number one pet peeve about being the oldest child is that my little brother acts like he can’t frickin do the most simple tasks on earth……. My parents act like it’s because he’s younger, but he’s not THAT young at all. He’s 12, going into 7th grade, and I’m 14, going into 9th grade. And like, half the stuff he asks me to do for him, I’ve been doing since I was like 8 or 9

Like LAUNDRY. All you have to do is put your clothes in the machine, put soap in, add a lil bit of fabric softener, turn the machine on, and press start. ITS THAT SIMPLE!! BUT NOOoO. He *for some reason* finds it so incredibly difficult to do that on his own…..

If you are a younger sibling, please try to actually do the job before seeking help. It gets really frustrating when y’all can’t open your dresser and put your clothes in it for instance. Or setting the table. Just do the job. We don’t need to do everything for you.

I feel like sometimes younger siblings just do it cause they know we will.

1. My dad had a TERRIBLE older sister and so now he is bias against me, and always favors my brother in arguments.

2. My dad (and a little my mom) thing I’m gonna be a screw up as a teen bc they were.

3. My brother will hit me and throw things at me when they aren’t around and even if they are around they just say, “GET ALONG” or else I get in trouble as well.

4. Things I’ve done get forgotten really quickly and then I’m told I need to help out more.

5. They give me a LOT of responsibility and then often get mad at me when it isn’t perfect.

6. You have stricter rules, example: last week my brother was allowed to watch something I wasn’t allowed to watch until I was 13 and really mature. (He is 8 and throws tantrums)

7. I have to help him do the SIMPLEST TASKS EVER. He can’t make himself breakfast and I usually have to. I’ve been making toast or cereal since I was 4/5.

8. He doesn’t do his chores saying they are “to hard” (CLEARING THE TABLE ISN’T HARD) and then I have to do them.

And while I do get a lot of things my siblings don’t, it would still be nice to get a little more appreciation than I do. Thank you for coming to my rant.

1) Having high expectations put on to you when your parents know you cant live up to them.
2) When ur sibling does something and doesnt get yelled at but if that was you doing something stupid you would be grounded for awhile.

1. Getting yelled at for something YOU DIDN'T DO! 2. They get in less trouble than we do. For example I did something when I was younger and I was grounded but when my brother did it my parents just said don't do that. 3. If I say a bad word I am the culprit but if he says something nothing

If anything happens, it’s my fault, because apparently I’m supposed to be responsible of my brother 24/7. Once something happened, my brother did something, I don’t remember what exactly but my dad came in and then blamed the entire thing on me, saying I was the oldest and I had to be responsible of him all the time. Idk about ya’ll but that seems unfair to me. my brother is ten years old and has to be responsible for his own actions. he could murder someone and my dad would say it was my fault because i should have been watching him and guiding him. youre expected to do everything. there are some perks but i hate having siblings in general.
