@Maialynn I've heard 'ramen' pronounced more often as "rah-men", and this is coming from a generally Asian society. Fun fact: 'ramen' is the Japanese version of what's known in Mandarin as 'la(1) mian(4)' or 'pulled noodles' (because of how they're made). Back to the original topic: I say both pah-tae-toe and poe-tay-toe, depending on whether I'm more inclined towards British English or American English at that moment. haha |
