When I was in kindergarten I decided I wanted to be a doctor, and now I’m almost going to 12th grade and I’ve narrowed my decision to becoming a rheumatologist which is still a doctor, but for a specific area in medicine.

My mom told me I used to want to be a baby doctor when I was a toddler but now I either was to be a chef or a author (or just somebody who works with english)

when i was in kindergarten we had bikes and a sand box outside. I always biked around with a bucket of sand on the steering wheel. I always stopped the bike when i saw a kid from my kindergarten class. I then asked them “what do you want to be when you grow up?”. They always answered “i don’t know”. I then got mad, threw sand on them and said “i want to be a princess” and biked away fast. So i guess a princess 😳 but now i want to be a children and teen-worker. Idk if they have that in your country. But in my country it’s a job that requires not so much education. And you work with children and teens. You can work at daycares, and be a person that children talks with in school if they’re struggling.

I’ve always wanted to be a chef or a baker but now that I realize they don’t get paid a ton unless you are really high up there I’m starting to change my mind I also don’t want to do something I love doing for a living because I don’t want to ruin it for me and only think of work when I cook and when I’m in the kitchen I’m a control freak and get so mad when my brother tries to cook with me and does it all wrong so with my need of power in the kitchen I don’t think I’ll get really far and would just get major anxiety attacks if that was my job but now I’m thinking about being an accountant because I like math and my aunt is one and she really be making them big bucks 🤑🤑🙈🙈

This is about my dad, but when he was five years old, he announced that he wanted to be an astronomer, and wrote that as his what I want to be when I grow up for years after that. And guess what, now, 40 years later, he is an astronomer.
