Hello all! I’ve been practicing witchcraft for around two years (with several long breaks throughout) and I just wanted to see if anyone else was in the community. Share your path, if you worship any deities, or any other cool facts about your practice! I’ll start! I’m a green witch and a crystal witch! I do not currently worship or work with any deities (I don’t feel like I’m ready yet), but I would definitely like to! My favorite tools are crystals (of course!), incense (I’m an air sign, so this is predictable lol), and candles! Thanks for any replies!

@TheRealOG First of all, you don’t need to be rude. Second, that is your opinion, and as per the definition of an opinion, is not a fact. Third, I can appreciate kind people who would like to spread the teachings of their faith in a considerate manner, but just saying “yOu’ll gO tO hEll” does not add anything to your argument and is very inconsiderate to other faiths that differ from yours.

@Yellowfang It’s a big part of my life now! I have always been interested in crystals (even since I was a kid lol) so it all just started from there! And thanks for being tolerant and respectful towards my beliefs!

@Yellowfang Yes, thats what it is! It’s also sometimes spelled “magick” to separate it from stage magician magic. And yes, I have done a few spells! One of them didn’t go too well (I wasn’t doing some necessary things) and I’ve decided to take a break from doing spells so I can learn some more things. I wasn’t ready to do them back then, so I need to learn a little more!

@Yellowfang What I’ll do is probably a protection jar, which is where you put some herbs, crystals, etc inside and it helps protect your space. I don’t have any jars at the moment, so I’ll have to find a nice one to use. First you have to cleanse your items (basically get rid of any bad energy that could be on them). I use some incense for this. Then you put all of your items inside your jar and seal the top with candle wax. Then you’re done!

@Yellowfang Yeah, you definitely could do that! I’ve seen some people make little jar spells and make them into necklaces. I already have some protective crystals as necklaces, so I’ll just use my jar to protect my house.

@Yellowfang I grow all of the herbs I can (some I can’t because I either can’t find seeds or they aren’t good for the weather here) so I just buy the other ones. I actually am not open about my practice to my family (they wouldn’t support it) so I just use the herbs for “cooking” haha
