I'm a former christian, though there are still aspects of Christianity I hold onto. I still have a lot of Respect for Jesus, and for the way he loved all people, and for the sacrifice he made for the sake of humanity. One of my first bracelets I bought as a kid was a "What would Jesus do" bracelet, and it's something I still try to live by today. Part of the reason I got into bracelet making is I wanted to recreate that bracelet I had as a kid.I guess one of the reasons I fell out of the religion was because the religious community I grew up in was extremely toxic and antithetical to what Jesus wanted for us: to love humanity the way he did. I still have a lot of respect for Christians who live by Jesus' example. |
