The day I earned my black belt me and my family almost got in a car accident. We were driving down the road we live on, and we just saw smoke EVERYWHERE. You could just barely see the car flip. Once the smoke cleared, you could see the flipped car, and the man who was driving on the pavement. (He had flown out of the car during the accident.) when he landed his hat was stuck in the pavement. (Sorry gross TMI) the guy was pretty beat up after all that. Afterwards we found out that he was driving under the influence. If we had been driving down that road any earlier I probably wouldn’t be alive today. The only reason he didn’t hit us, was because he swerved to avoid us. My siblings, my mom, and my grandmother were all in the car at the time too.

So one time I was riding my scooter down a hill and I took my hand off to wave at my brother as he rode past me. That put me off balance and I fell off my scooter and bashed my chin on the pavement and scraped up my knees and hands too. (i was wearing a helmet but I didn't even land on my head) I was bleeding pretty bad from the chin and my parents ran me home. I was holding a cloth to my chin while my dad made a few phone calls trying to get help. (the panic/stress in his voice made it even more scary for me) We ended up driving to a hospital and the whole time I was super scared abt what was gonna to me. I was pretty young, but old enough to know that if u need to go to the hospital, something is WRONG. So we got there and I went to some room and they put me on a chair thing that was laid down while my parents and brother sat in the room just watching me. The lady looking at my chin was super nice but like...I WAS STILL VERY SCARED YA KNOW? part of the reason I was scared is that I was CERTAIN that I would have to get stitches and they FREAK ME OUT. And I had already had them b4 although I don't remember it. And that was the point. I was prob old enough to remember what it was like to get stitches and I was so scared that that would like effect me in the long run kinda. But it turned out, I DIDNT NEED TO GET STITCHES. The lady cleaned off my cut and then like put on some weird glue that......literally just glued my chin back together. And I don't remember what happened after that but IG we went home and it felt really weird and kinda hurt to move my mouth for like a week but then it was totally fine. AND I HAVE THE SCARS TO PROVE THAT SCARY MOMENT HAPPENED. So yeah 😂

Our car is really old. We really don't get it repaired a lot so there are a few times this car has almost scared the life out of me. It was raining one, and the car wasn't really driving straight. It kept going left and right instead of straight. So when we stopped at a red light and my mom hit the gas to go ahead, this car swerved right and then left. My soul left my body. We were so close to hitting another car, but luckily my mom got control of the car. Another time was when the car stopped in the middle of the road 💀

I was lost at the mountain skiing- with no phone, and no knowledge of what run I was on. I had gotten separated from my parents and I didn't know when it had happened 😭
