I was making the swim alpha (one of my first alphas, u can see the picture in my bio) and I did that weird knot thing at the top to add the background color + a base string. Well, I was about halfway thru W and THE. BASE. STRING. CAME. OUT. Ofc, there is no way to fix that so I had to start over 😢 I cried lol 😂

So I was working on a 30 string alpha, and I was about 10 rows in when I thought I messed up and had too many strings. I undid the WHOLE THING but then realized that I had been doing it right in the first place and I had to redo the whole thing 😭 😂

one time i was trying to remake a bracelet with the same colors it was already in (I just messed up and wanted to fix it, and I spent like 4 hours undoing the knots, and when I started making the bracelet again, one of the strings ripped in half and I had to restart again

1. Watching something and knotting and then realizing that I didn't do the right row and completely messed it up. I didn't feel like taking it out and it had already taken 4 hours to make so I had to adjust the pattern 😤2. I dont like using string that breaks very easily and for me I dont like DMC at all. So once I used it to make a 24 string bracelet and the whole bracelet fell apart. 😭 |

I was making my first #18 and I had absolutely no idea what I was doing, so I started knitting in the middle. It did NOT go well 😂 so I cut the top off and filled Nash’s knots video on it. I had to undo probably 1000 knots while making it 😂 not literally, I don’t know though. I loved how it turned out though! I even embedded a bead in it! 😊😀

For some reason I was supposed to knot with the same string for 15 rows but I only had like 8 string til the end and 8 didn’t skip any rows and I had the right amount of base strings and I didn’t know what was going on and this happened to me on several different occasions. And once I made a triangle start but accidentally knotted knots I had already done for the triangle start and I had to redo it wait… that happened today I STILL HAVE TO UKNOT IT UGHHHH

I was making an alpha and I’m half way through the bracelet and see that THE ROWS ARE UNEVEN AND I CUT THE WRONG AMOUNT OF STRING!!! always double check your rows and count your strings 😀 👍

This isn’t a knotting mishap but still a mistake. I left a rainbow fishbone chevron with twisted ties that i had JUST FINISHED on my desk and my door was open….my cat Hector is obsessed with string so he chewed the twisted ties off completely :/ not i keep my bracelets in a metal hello kitty lunch box lol

my alpha base strings got tangled and i was new so i tried to pull them apart needles to say the both got more tangled and snapped but it was so close to my already knitted rows that i could add a new base string
