@5torr Once, I confused one of my base strings for a leading string, in an alpha, tugging out one of the base strings, unraveling one whole vertical row, meaning I couldn't finish the bracelet😏😅

one time i was making this Aztec bracelet and i just finished the loop when i realized i didn’t have enough strings and i miscounted so I HAD TO UNKNOT EVERYTHING OFC then, i finally reknotted my loop and the bracelet was about 2 inches when MY STRINGS STARTED BREAKING. so i just made it this tiny keychain and it sits in my bracelet box 😌

When I start a bracelet and realize I didn’t cut the strings long enough and I’m too far to just throw it away, so I either make for someone else so I make it a keychain. This happens to me a lot

i accidentally skipped a base string in an alpha pattern and knotted a few rows without that string. i untied all of the knots in the rows with a base string missing using a needle and my finger hurt so bad lol. i'm rly glad i untied the knots though, i loved the way my bracelet turned out (:

I thought that knotted a wrong color in the row above and then I unknotted two whole rows, and then I realized that I didn’t even have enough base strings and I had to redo the whole keychain

idk exactly what happened, but i think that I accidentally knotted an extra knot than I was supposed to do, so the pattern had 21 base strings and the row went: 5 white knots-1 black knot-3 white knots-1 black knot-all white knots, but I think I did 6 white knots at first and just used that first row and the pattern to figure out how many knots to do of each color for the next rows. so i realized after knotting a total of 6-7 rows, the first three were all white knots, so yeah I needed to undo 3-4 rows 😂

i was making a name bracelet for an order and the name was of 7 letters, i wrote the spelling wrong, i was done with the whole name and then i had to untie atleast like 15-20 rows 😭

Watching Netflix while knotting and just going relying on muscle memory because you Want To See What Happens In The Show...... and then looking down at your bracelet and seeing that you have knotted 4 rows while not following the pattern anymore. I had to undo those 4 rows and make the color switches.... it took me 1.5 hours to do it (was a bookmark sized project ) 😭 😂

When I made my second ever alpha I knotted half of the keychain and realized that I was following the pattern wrong and so I had to throw it out 😓

I was making this super cute alpha and about halfway through my alphas I cut the tiny strings in the back because they start to get in my way so I was doing that and I cut one of them too short and it started to undo the knot in the middle of the bracelet. I was sooo mad so I literally cut the strings off and threw it in the garbage. 🙈

I was knotting #53200 and added one extra-base string than the pattern said to, and I knotted all of the stars without knowing that and none of them matched up so I recounted my base strings. I found out that when I was cutting my strings, I looked at the part the says "Strings" instead of counting the base strings on the pattern but it was for a challenge soo i finished it having two extra knots on one side of the potion 😑

When I was making #31621, I had used 13 base string instead of 12, and I didn't realize my mistake until the 4th row 😂

Oh and I also messed my sisters bracelet up bc I was helping her... lol but she figured out how to fix it she just needed to add one extra base string for the background string each row

Yesterday, I was starting an alpha pattern and I made the loop and the first two rows. When I went to add colors I realized that I had miscounted the number of strings and had to untie the entire bracelet. Then I realized that I had cut most of the strings too short. I got so frustrated I threw the bracelet across the room when it was picked up by my cat and now I can't find it.
