Books I have been reading and loving: Warriors, Keeper of the Lost Cities, FableHaven, Harry Potter (read it awhile ago, but still amazing), the Hunger Games trilogy, Songbirds and snakes (mehh at the moment...), and WOF (also probably more, I cant remember 😂)Books I want to read: The maze runner, the Percy Jackson series, The city of Ember, Divergent series, Five kingdoms series, and more. (Most of the book I read are from the library so if I really like them I add them to my Amazon list 😂) (Semi un-related, but I bet you can guess what I want for my birthday- 😂 😜 🔥) |

Since you asked, heres is my rant 😂The first series I was really hooked on was the Inheritance cycle by Christopher Paolini, I reread (which doesn't happen offen) several times. I just loved the magic concept, the world and the characters. My favourite fantasy series at the moment is Askir. But its just available in German. The main protagonist is so well written. The way he doesn't want to be a hero and just wants to die at the beginnig of the first book and where it goes in the rest of the series is fascinating. And the other characters are just as interesting and very different form each other, yet work well in this hero-team. Other than fantasy, 'Shantaram' is my favourite book at the moment. It's more or less a biography from the author but so action loaded. The story is really hard to belive, but at the same time scary realistic. Some other books I can recommend are 'We are okay', 'the huntress' (spy thriller, one storyline follows a female Russian pilot and the other one follows a young photograper in the US, of course the storylines connect at some point), 'Radio Silence' (LGBTQ wise very well written), 'The Athena protcol' (female rouge protectors), 'the Paper magician' (the magic in this world enhances folded objects, also known as Origami, nice idea, quick read cause only pretty thin books unfortunally), 'the price of salt'/alias 'Carol' (this book just has so much 1950is asthetic and such a unique writing style, in the words of Carol, flung out of space) And if you are ever in need of a book series that you simply can not put down because it's so gripping, try the 'throne of glass' series 😉 Unfortunally as a professional bookworm you always need a even better book than the last one and it gets increasingly hard to find those 😭 And at the moment i am in search for the next best book out there ❤️ 😢 I read most of the books that you guys mentioned as well, just wanted to add some that you might not have heard of. I really liked the hunger games and when the movies came out they were surprisingly good in comparison. And harry potter is just great. But i didn't found Warrior cats so engaging, i was more for the owls in the Guardians of Ga'Hoole. |
