@Hanners yeah that's super cool!! my friend has synesthesia and she is an amazing musician because of it. she almost exclusively plays by ear because she can tell what note/chord is playing by the color of it. she has also composed songs for friends using the color of their name, and usually they're pretty accurate to their personality. that's so cool that you relate notes to colors too! seems pretty neat (:

@llama1013 yeah, I play by ear too! 😁 It is a life saver sometimes... like I don’t have to read every note on a piece of paper in order to learn a song. That’s so cool about your friend, I’ve never thought of doing that, but I bet I could try! That’s awesome

oh yeah we also associate people with colours. like my sis told me i was this pastel-ish bright-ish pink colour. i'd say ariana grande is a teal colour. i'd say @lucass_ was a burgundy-brownish colour. @Love-Fox is a cream maybe?? or a dark teal. @Puppy12345 is definitely a daisy yellow or a teacup pink. my english teacher is a sky blue. also astrology!! libra is a pink or lavender or a darker purple. gemini is silver and white and gold. aquarius is always a teal or turquoise. cancer is a blue. aries is a red. also math is blue, english yellow, history red, science green, and music black or navy blue. |

@llama1013 ohh i've heard of that! someone in my class says he has it and says he hears music from colours. i asked him what blue sounded like and he was like "melancholy" then i said "can you sing it out for me?" and he was like "NO" also my i've heard some people can taste colours? like they eat something and they're like "oh that's ___________" my friend said she once ate something and it tasted like metallic purple. a synopsis of my experiences with synesthesia 👍 |

I’m not sure if I have this exact thing, but my brain associates everything with a color. So if we were chatting out the month of June a color would come into mind. I also associate people with colors (and a bunch of other random stuff). So like January is blood red, February is a light brown, March is an icey blue, April is bright yellow, May is a light purple, June is an rusty color, July is Navy blue, August is a mustard yellow, September is dark green, October is a really dark orange, November is dark grey, December is white. Luke is a medium blue, @Love_Fox is a peachy pink, @Puppy12345 is purple, @chloe_f_a is sky blue, @llama1013 is a dark turquoise, books are beige, rope is red, pianos are a natural brown, and so on

Yepperoni. Science is green, math is blue, English is orange. And each person is a different colour too... like once I told my friend that she is pink and she’s like “uhh... I don’t even like pink...”

I think it is called synesthesia. Its when you associate everything with something else, for example, the number 3 is always yellow and Wednesday to me. I think everyone has this to some degree, like the famous debate over what color each of the school subjects are (everyone seems to agree that science is green tho), but for some people, it goes for everything.
