Does anyone bring there bracelet making supplies when they travel?? If so what is the best way to keep it organized but also easy to just throw in the car?

I usually put cisors, tape, maybe a few keychain d-rings and a few bobins in a pencil case so I have three or four color combinations that I can use. Then I take my clipboard too. I personally never make alphas while i'm traveling bc I find them unconfortable to carry arround bc you have to keep cutting and adding string but that is just personal preference. (:

I do. I now have three kits, plus extra floss. So I put thread for like 8 different patterns in one and bring it.I also like to put a few easy patterns( like chevrons and daisy chains) in a bag with scissors and tape to do during the drive( as long as you aren’t driving, lol) |

I do. All of my “main” embroidery thread is in an organizer which is 3 levels and has a handle on it. Then I just put a pair of scissors in my purse and I bring my clipboard with me too but most of the time I will have already started bracelets so that I will only need my clipboard and scissors while I’m not home.

I have a clipboard that opens up and has storage inside, usually meant for paper but it works well for thread and other bracelet supplies. I love it and can take it wherever, it's great because a clipboard is my usual workspace and I can have it ready whenever

Yes, all. the. time. 😂 most of the time I don’t use it unless I’m bringing it on a few days to a week long vacation, but I just got into friendship bracelets making like after the summer of the year before last year and got really into them last year when we couldn’t take week-long vacations bc of covid

Also, you should bring a clipboard or a pillow and start it before you leave. You should have a little purse or ziplock bag with your supplies in it, or have a few bracelets with pre-cut extra strings just in case you run out.

I’m not sure where I got it, it was years ago lol. but I just looked it up, I have the dexas 1517-91 slimcase storage one. I also just searched “clipboard with storage” and multiple places like walmart, office depot, amazon, and even target came up. mine has the clip at the bottom and hinge at the top but there’s some where it’s on the sides and etc. I definitely recommend one, whether it’s one like mine or a different type. good luck! yeah mine has worked really well and holds up great. I use tape on it constantly, take it in and out of my backpack, use it anywhere, and it hasn’t broken and it’s barely worn after a few years of use. I’m pretty sure we got it at a store so it didn’t come broken (again I can’t remember where sadly or I’d totally tell you).
