Hey So the other day I tripped on a lego and hit the banister at the top of the stairs really hard, I kind of feel into it and my arm got beat up and bruised pretty bad. Is there any way to get rid of the bruise? It’s getting bigger and bigger and I’m not sure what to do.. Thanks |

Hey! I’m very clumsy so I feel your pain. Bruises are caused by your blood vessels bursting due to impact and that causes internal bleeding which is why you see the bruise. As far as i know, there’s no way to get rid of it other than just waiting it out. The only trick i know of is putting ice on it right after the impact, but since you hit your arm a few days ago, it probably won’t work.

@GenMalucci sorry i wasn’t much help. You can still try the ice thing, it might work but i’m not sure. If it’s bothering you a lot though, you could probably cover it with concealer or something.

You can put an ice pack on the bruise to reduce swelling but thats about it i think I’m not sure tbh

Yeah I have a million random bruises on my legs that o don’t know where the heck they came from and don’t k ow how to get rid of them so yeah... lol 😂

I also have a bruise on my arm, and as far as I know you have to wait it out. Some people said to put ice on it, which might work, but I think it only works if you put it on right after you get hit, to reduce the swelling/color. you could try searching it up, idk. Sorry if this wasn't much help!

lol i bruised my leg at a sports practice doing conditioning. Last week I dropped a weight onto my thigh. Then that weekend it decided to heat up and get into the 80s. I wore shorts and it was embarrassing cuz my bruise was totally visible and big😭

I have always belived that the only way to get rid of bruises was to wait for them to go away. I may be wrong tho..
