@GenMalucci sure. I’m going to just be the bigger person here (even though I’m likely younger than you), and I’m going to agree to disagree. I’m not going to keep going back and forth with you about this because it’s stressing me out. At the end of the day, your opinion is your opinion (and is correct), and my opinion is my opinion (and is correct). I can’t prove you wrong, and you can’t prove me wrong, because opinions are not wrong. I can’t change your mind, and you can’t change my mind, because opinions are opinions. (On an additional note, my mind can’t be changed because I already got the vaccine). It has been interesting to see what other people think about the vaccine, but this whole back and forth thing isn’t working for me. It’s making my anxiety bad, and right now, my focus is on finishing my last week of school so I can enjoy summer break. Thanks for sharing your view on this, but I am leaving this conversation. But here’s what I have right now: Fauci wrote: "Masks are really for infected people to prevent them from spreading infection to people who are not infected rather than protecting uninfected people from acquiring infection. The typical mask you buy in the drug store is not really effective in keeping out virus, which is small enough to pass through material. It might, however, provide some slight benefit in keep out gross droplets if someone coughs or sneezes on you. I do not recommend that you wear a mask, particularly since you are going to a very low risk location. Your instincts are correct, money is best spent on medical countermeasures such as diagnostics and vaccines."

I’ve been waiting MONTHS to get it (ok only like 1 month) because when ever I’m free to get it my second does would fall on a date when I’m busy! But I’m hopefully going to be able to get it tommorow🙂

@blahblah11 I’m getting mine tomorrow too! I’m a little bit nervous but I think I’ll be fine. I hope that I’m not sore because I was going to make pizza tomorrow and it’s really hard to mix up the dough sometimes because I have to do it with my hands 😂

I got my second dose yesterday, and it's not too bad. My arm hurts a lot, and I felt nauseas for like an hour, but other than that, I'm pretty much fine. I'm just glad that I could get it!

@Elise64 both my parents and brother are fully vaccinated! They told me exactly how it went so I’m not scared tbh I’m more scared of feeling sick after then the shot itself for some reason I enjoy the feeling of a shot going into my skin… idk I’m weird 😂

@blahblah11 😂 I used to be terrified of needles because my sister told me about this disease you can get from the flu shot which can give you paralysis, i was terrified when I heard about the side effects on tv, and I was just scared of the shot itself too but I just got over it naturally. I heard that the side effects only last a couple of days and my family didn’t feel that much pain while getting the shot so I wasn’t that scared anymore.

@ChaosZone lol I sleep on both sides sometimes so that might be a problem 😂 I mainly sleep in my left arm but I sleep on my right arm too but if I’m scared sometimes I feel safer sleeping towards the wall (on my right arm) so hopefully I don’t get scared for any reason tomorrow night 😂

@blahblah11 the weird thing is, I used to be so scared of the side effects and the shot itself and everything but now, the only thing I’m even really scared about is (if getting the shot hurts or if I am scared) crying in front of the doctor who is giving me the shot 😂

@GenMalucci I think what you were saying about Fauci's emails is missing context. The email was from February 5, more than a month before WHO declared Covid-19 was a world-wide pandemic. He obviously knows more about it now than before, and has said that you should wear masks in non-socially distanced events.
