@Godluvsu thank you! And I apologize if I was the reason you had to write this message! I am trying to make people think twice before putting something into their body that they have not done much research about.

@LiliaKnots I wasn’t going to send another message just because I don’t like to start (or prolong) arguments. But you were saying to someone else that people lie on the internet…. Have you ever heard of fake news? Your links could be fake as well…. And also (I can’t find the link right now…. If I find it I will send it to you privately) there was a vaccine doctor who went publicly to tell Canadians not to get the vaccine. It has not been tested the amount of times a vaccine usually is. Meaning we are the test subjects. Another red flag is that it is not a normal vaccine. Most vaccines stay in your arm and the antibodies attack them there. The Covid vaccines change your DNA and go throughout the body. There was a lot more information in that video so if I can find the link I advise you watch it. Obviously we both have biased opinions, nobody can say they are not biased. But that is why you should look at what you think is fake and what you think is real and compare it to others findings. I’m sorry to have caused you trouble. God bless you

@LiliaKnots one more thing…. You said that it will not affect future pregnancies…. How can you be sure of that? Can the doctors see the future? Can you see the future? All you can do is hypothesize and that doesn’t make it true. One of the things I mean when I say I’m not going to get the vaccine is long term affects. The vaccine has been out for 7 months that’s not long enough to carry a child to full term. So what makes that statement true and not mine? Because you heard it from a higher authority? I heard all of my information from higher authorities as well

@lizknots that’s cool! I wish my school did that because my County’s vaccination rate is very very low.

@Camo it’s true that you wouldn’t know if it affected future pregnancies or not which means how would you know if it would change it for the worse? There’s just as much chance of it having no effect as there is of it having an effect under your terms as there hasn’t been enough time to fully study it which makes neither of us right or able to talk because there’s not enough information. My links aren’t fake that’s the reason I included them they are from John Hopkins University and CBC which are official sites. The vaccine is just as safe as any as they didn’t start research from scratch. They took information and research from other tested and safe vaccines for other coronaviruses like the ones that caused SARS. It was also a worldwide team effort to create the vaccine so quickly so a lot of the time it took to make the vaccine was the testing. No vaccine stays in your arm that would be ineffective it travels through your body to fight the disease. It is administered in the arm muscle so that irritation and inflammation stays localized in the arm. If someone doesn’t have arms it is injected somewhere else and it still works but if it worked the way you say it does, it wouldn’t work for someone without arms. As for the vaccine only being out for 7 months, testing started in summer 2020 which was more than 9 months ago so there was plenty of time to do studies and tests to come up with the information that it does put affect fertility and pregnant women. Being anti vax isn’t fine but there’s nothing I can do. Sharing your beliefs and information online isn’t fine because it’s dangerous and only makes the pandemic last longer and longer and makes healthcare and frontline workers suffer more and more and more people die each day from Covid. Nobody yet has linked me the source of their information because they couldn’t find it, but if it was information that was correct and groundbreaking for the vaccine, wouldn’t it be widespread and easy to find information? And couldn’t you check your search history? I don’t understand how not one person can find their links again and I’ve discussed with a lot of people on here, and other platforms and it’s always the same story.

@Camo no I’m more talking people that are shaming people for not getting the vaccine. That happens a lot more often. Its like, you have a choice and your exercising your freedom to not get it. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that, yknow?

@Godluvsu well there is a problem with it because if no one gets vaccinated the pandemic will last forever

@LiliaKnots I understand your concern, but you can’t blame the unvaccinated people for the virus continuing. It’s a fact that it’s not our fault. Especially if some of us can’t get the vaccine for health precautions. Being vaccinated is a choice, and the government has no right to force anybody to get a vaccine because they think it will work. I would be tempted to get the vaccine if it was proven to work long term, actually be tested for over 5 years, which it hasn’t.

@GenMalucci then how are you expecting the pandemic to end exactly? The only way other pandemics and epidemics ended were either because everyone was killed off, or a vaccine was developed. I understand people not getting vaccinated due to health problems and if they stay home and wear a mask then they aren’t the problem. The reason I’m usuing the term anti vaxxer instead of unvaccinated person is because I’m not blaming people who want the vaccine but can’t get it. And to be honest, unvaccinated people who stay home and only go out for the most essential things aren’t a problem either. It’s just that every single anti vaxxer that I know in real life (which unfortunately is a lot) is someone who has large gatherings and goes out without masks and doesn’t care about others. It’s just so annoying because I know what’s going on in the hospitals and I’d like anti vaxxers to take a walk through one. In the hospital my mother works at, a woman wanted to be vaccinated but her husband didn’t let her and he also refused it then the husband got Covid and gave it to the wife and they both died. The vaccine has more testing than you think because it was already a developed and tested and used mRNA vaccine for other Coronaviruses and it was tweaked for SARS-CoV-2. I know that you already said that your doctor told you not to get it I assume because of a medical problem and I’m sure you wear a mask and stay at home so you’re fine. We need to all get vaccinated to reach herd immunity so that people stop dying and healthcare and frontline workers can catch a break. I’m not trying to argue with anyone I’m just trying to help educate people so that we can all stay safe.

@LiliaKnots sry I sent to soon... I know I’m not apart of this convo but the Black Plague did not end with a vaccine it ended “by itself” so your point isn’t really true

@_dreamer I said that they either ended because of a vaccine or because people died out. Nobody actually knows how the Black Plague ended but the most popular theories are the implication of quarantine or simply that human bodies evolved past it. Quarantine won’t end covid-19 because even though we currently are staying at home and trying our best, some people don’t follow quarantine rules and don’t care about the consequences of their actions. Even if we did all follow the rules, it’s just not possible to avoid going outside in modern times. Most people produced their own food back then and didn’t have things they needed to buy like toilet paper for example so there wasn’t a reason to go out. Today, we need to go out to get these things so it’s impossible to end Covid-19 through quarantine. The other theory is that human bodies evolved but the Black Plague lasted hundreds of years on and off and 75-200 million people died in the end which is not what we want to happen for Covid. The fastest and essentially only way to end Covid-19 is to reach herd immunity by everyone getting vaccinated. Btw, I’m not trying to fight with you because I have no idea what your stances are with vaccination and you were just stating one thing.

@LiliaKnots So because you don’t know how it will end (nobody does) it just gets automatically blamed on people who haven’t or for that matter CANT get the vaccine? What about before vaccines were around? Those are just theories. So many people get the vaccine, but I know people who got the vaccine and then got covid afterwards. So it doesn’t give immunity. It could possibly help a little, but saying “herd immunity” is incorrect because it doesn’t give you immunity. I’m done with arguing. We don’t have to agree. I hope you have a nice day.

@GenMalucci it doesn’t give you immunity but I helps a whole lot. You still need to wear a mask and stay home. If you are in direct contact with someone with Covid (a family member or co-worker not someone at the store or something) it’s still possible to get it. If you know that many people who are still getting, obviously they aren’t abiding by health recommendations or else (even just based on statistics) they wouldn’t be getting it. And you keep talking about people who can’t get it. I’ve said before that those people aren’t the problem, they don’t have a choice. That’s why the rest of us need to get vaccinated so we can help protect them too. Before vaccines there were a lot more diseases, epidemics and pandemics too. The entire world was a much less healthy place. It’s called herd immunity because if everyone is vaccinated, less and less people will be getting Covid and eventually there won’t be anywhere to get the virus from and everyone will be immune. Also, herd immunity is just a term, I didn’t come up with it what do you want me to do? It just makes me so angry because I’ve lost so many friends and family to Covid because of anti vaxxers (I know it was anti vaxxers because they are the only people with Covid they were in contact with) and my parents who work in healthcare tell me about all the people in the hospital that die of Covid and I’m sick of anti vaxxers being so ignorant by stating false information like that there isn’t enough testing or that there’s aborted baby flesh in the vaccine (yes, someone actually said that). I too am sick of arguing with people I don’t know and it’s just making me angrier so I’m also done. Have a nice day.

@LiliaKnots can we just stop arguing about this now? We each have our opinions and none of them are ‘wrong’. So stop shaming people for not getting vaccinated
